Wanapix earned a point at the Pabelló Nou in Santa Coloma after drawing against Catgas Energía in an intense, very physical and open game until the end.

Jorge Palos' team started the match well. Wanapix pressed high, looking to disrupt the home side's build-up play and maintaining possession. Catgas responded quickly and began to threaten Jackson Sant'Anna's goal, who made it clear from the opening minutes that he was going to be busy.

The exchange of chances eventually fell first to Wanapix. In the 12th minute, Célio Coque unleashed a powerful volley into the top corner to put Wanapix ahead. A truly spectacular goal to make it 0-1.

Catgas' reaction was immediate. Just two minutes later, a quick counter-attack from the Catalan side ended with Marc Torlà making it 1-1. Back to square one.

The game didn't lose intensity after the equalizer. There was a good pace, duels, and chances at both ends, although neither team managed to find the net again before halftime.

Jackson appears when Catgas is at its most insistent

The second half began with Catgas stepping up their game. The home side managed to play closer to Wanapix's area for several minutes, and that's when Jackson appeared.

The Brazilian goalkeeper kept the team in the game with several excellent saves. Catgas pressed hard and created dangerous situations, but they were repeatedly thwarted by the Wanapix goalkeeper.

It was a matter of suffering, defending, and waiting for the right moment. And Wanapix had his moment too.

As the minutes ticked by, the team found space again and created chances to take all three points. Ferreyra responded when needed, and the Catalan defense managed to thwart other attacks that could have changed the game.

The final minutes were played with the score wide open. Catgas searched for a second goal, and Wanapix wasn't content with a draw either. Both teams had chances, but the score remained 1-1.

First point for Wanapix, achieved on a difficult court and after a match in which there was a lot of competition during the forty minutes.
