Jorge Palos has decided to end his tenure as first-team coach. In an emotional farewell video, the manager explains that he needs to stop after months of exhaustion and dedicate time to himself and his family.
"My body has been screaming at me to stop for many months," Palos acknowledges. At 30 years old, the coach points out that he has lost two elements he considers essential to continue: "Enthusiasm and energy."
In his farewell, Palos highlights the privilege of having been able to dedicate himself professionally to his passion at the club of his life, with the trust of the board, the coaching staff, and the players. It's an experience lived at home, where, as he explains, both joys and sorrows are felt with particular intensity.
The coach expresses his gratitude to the fans for their affection and to all the players and members of the coaching staff who have accompanied him during these years. He also addresses the current squad, conveying the pain he feels at leaving and his confidence in the group's ability to achieve its goals.
Palos extends special thanks to Reta for the opportunity to begin his coaching career alongside him, for his support, and for the projects they shared. He also acknowledges the fundamental role of his family and expresses his gratitude for their presence, understanding, and support throughout this period.
His decision marks a pause for rest, to reconnect with his loved ones, and to face the next challenge with renewed energy. "I'm a coach," he states in the video, which concludes with a message for the future: "See you soon."
The club thanks Jorge for his work, commitment, and dedication over all these years. We wish him all the best in this new chapter and remind him that this will always be his home.
