The road here
Sala 10 is born
The Sala 10 Sports Association was founded on July 11, 1987, following the merger of two teams from Zaragoza. Initially named Jalter, it began as an amateur project built among friends, taking its first steps in regional competitions in Aragon.
Entry into the LNFS
After the first years in Aragon and the creation of the National Futsal League in 1989, the club joined its structure in 1992. Under the name Roldán Pastor, it began this stage in First National B and continued building its path towards the national categories.
Grow up, try again
The team's promotion in 1995 had to be postponed due to a lack of funding. A year later, the team was crowned champion again and, with sponsors and a new management model, made the leap to the Second Division. After the demise of Pinturas Lepanto in 1998, Sala 10 became the main futsal team in Zaragoza.
The leap to the elite
After three seasons in Plata, Foticos Zaragoza achieved promotion in 1998/99. Their debut in División de Honor came in the 1999/2000 season. After two seasons in the top division, relegation in 2000/01 against MRA Xota led to an immediate return in 2001/02.
Zaragoza among the best
Under the name DKV Seguros Zaragoza, the club qualified for the title playoffs in its first three seasons of this new era. The relegation in 2007/08 marked another turning point: a year later, Sala 10 returned to the top flight.
The Siglo XXI, our home
In 2007, the team moved to the Siglo XXIMunicipal Sports Center. The pavilion became the meeting point between the club and its fans, and the stage for a new era of futsal in Zaragoza.
A season to remember
The return to the Copa de España, after five years, resulted in a victory against FC Barcelona in the quarterfinals and a semifinal decided in the final seconds against Jaén Paraíso Interior. The team also reached the semifinals of the Copa del Rey for the second time. They finished the league in seventh place.
The character of returning
In 2021/22, under the name Fútbol Emotion Zaragoza, the team was relegated to the Second Division. The following season they fought for promotion again, but were eliminated in the play-offs.
Wanapix. A new impetus
Wanapix lent its name to all of the club's categories as the main sponsor. The brand belongs to Foticos SL, which had already supported the team during their promotion in 1998/99. That season ended with them finishing first in the regular season and securing direct promotion to the First Division.
