Fútbol Emotion Zaragoza and Carlos Retamar have reached an agreement, and the player will remain with the club for another season. Wearing the number 10 jersey, Retamar joined Sala 10 in the 2011/2012 season from Benicarló Aeroport Castelló and couldn't miss out on his tenth season with the Zaragoza team.
During this time, the current captain has stood out for his dedication and sacrifice, becoming one of the most recognized veterans of the squad and the LNFS. In the 2019/2020 season, Retamar played 18 matches, scored 8 goals, and would have reached 250 appearances for the club on matchday 24, which was scheduled for March 13th against Pescados Rubén Burela at the Siglo XXIarena.
During his nine seasons with Sala 10, Retamar has scored a total of 111 goals (in the League, Spanish Cup, and King's Cup). The Madrid-born defender will have the opportunity to further enhance these impressive achievements under the guidance and confidence of the new coach, David Marín.
